Your syllabus design needs to include:

If you need help with your syllabus design or teaching programme:

  • Our just-about-to-be-released book “Inglés Programación Didáctica” published with 7 Editores-MAD is what you need.
  • Plus, as from 26th June to 2nd July, we are running a 1-week Course using the book as the starting point + Videos and other resources to guide Candidates from Galicia to adapt the syllabus design to the specific needs of that Autonomous Region (Comunidad Autónoma).
  • The number of places is limited. To ask for information or book a place, fill in the form above, specifying that it is for the Programación Didáctica.
Oral Presentation

The second part of the exam, proper, consists of giving the rationale behind your syllabus, orally for 20 minutes, together with the presentation of one of the units in your syllabus design (3 are drawn from the 15 included in your syllabus, and then you select 1 out of those 3). The presentation of the unit lasts for a maximum of 30 minutes.

Once the 3 units are drawn, you spend one hour isolated in a classroom, preparing your presentation, both of the rationale and the unit of your choice. You can use the materials you consider appropriate, but with no internet conexion.

In the unit you should include the learning objectives (or expected learning outcomes), learning and teaching activities and their assessment.

For the oral presentation of the Rationale you may use a one-page outline and for the presentation of the unit you may use the materials you wish provided the panel agrees.
