Oposiciones Profesores Inglés Madrid 2018-2: The Public call for 2018 slightly increases the number of places corresponding to the 2017 call to be held in June 2018. Here we are going to focus just on the novelties introduced by the 2018 Public Call.

Secondary School English teachers

In the DifferPublic Call, there were 221 places.

The 2018 Call includes 15 more places for “libres” + 3 more for Disable teachers, + 13 more for access from one lower to a higher group and 6 more for access within the same group. Thus, the total number of places for Secondary English teachers is 258.

Official Language Schools – English teachers

The 2017 Public Call only offered 4 places: 3 for “libres” and 1 for disabled teachers.

Now, the 2018 Public Call extends the number of “libres” to 9 more and it offers 2 places for civil servants accessing from the same group. This makes the total number up to 15 places.

Enrolment dates

If you decide to register for this call -we understand that you do not have to do it if you registered for the 2017 Public Call-  you have until 31st May 2018 to do so.

Candidates opting for “libres” and “disability” are constantly referred to the 2017 call for the various parts of the exam.

Accessing from same group (Secondary teachers for Language School teachers or vice-versa)

Same speciality, i.e. English

The exam will consist of the Practical exam as stated in the 2017 Call

Different speciality from English

They have to give an oral presentation based on one topic out of 9 from the 1993 list. It is divided into two parts: the first will deal with the topic contents, while the second will show how the contents can be taught. It needs to focus on a specific year and include objectives, contents, teaching-learning and assessment activities. Also, the necessary resources, materials and tools for the implementation of the teaching programme.
