¿Cuándo se celebra el Día de Colaboración Global?
El día de Colaboración Global entre alumnos, profesores y organizaciones relacionadas con la Educación se celebra este año el 15 de Septiembre. Aunque los proyectos duran todo el año académico 2016-17 o una gran parte del mismo.
¿Por qué?
Porque…
- en el siglo XXI aprendemos, participamos y colaboramos de forma global entre distintas personas, pueblos, grupos y naciones.
- juntos podemos hacer más y mejores cosas, conocernos mejor, romper barreras y buscar soluciones a los problemas actuales.
- es divertido.
- todo aprendizaje, y especialmente el de una lengua, es más eficaz y útil cuando lo usamos para comunicar y conectar con otros.
En el Poppies Foundation Course hablamos del Conectivismo. Pues bien, esta es una estupenda manera de ponerlo en práctica y hacer que la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la lengua vayan orientados a la acción.
¿Cómo podéis participar?
Hay varias maneras de participar: Una es presentando un proyecto, otra participando en uno de los propuestos por otros profesores. La participación el día de Colaboración Global se hace mediante el siguiente hagstag en twitter: #globaled16.
Ah! hay información también en español …y no es sólo para profesores de inglés sino para todos los profesores. Anímate y participa y anima a tus compañeros a participar: colaboraréis, os divertiréis y será una experiencia interesantísima que luego nos podéis contar.
When is Global Collaboration Day held?
Global Collaboration Day among students, teachers and Education-related organisations will be held on Sept. 15th this year. The projects, though, will go on throughout most of the 2016-17 Academic Year.
Why?
Because…
- in the 21st century we learn, do things and collaborate globally among different people and peoples, groups and countries.
- together we can do much more and better things, get to know one another better, break barriers and seek solutions to current problems.
- it is fun.
- any kind of learning and particularly learning a language is more efficient and useful when we put it into practice by connecting and communicating with others.
In the Poppies Foundation Course we dwell on Connectivism. This is certainly a good way of showing how it works and how to make language teaching and learning action-oriented.
How can you take part in it?
There are different ways: you may present your own project or you may take part in a project presented by other teachers. Participation on the Global Collaboration Day will be using the following Twitter hagstag: #globaled16.
And since this is a Collaboration Project involving all teachers, you can help teachers from other subjects. Come on, then! What are you waiting for?
